What will I need to use a child theme ?

You will need your own domain and webspace with the current, self-hosted WordPress version installed. You can download the free WordPress version for self-hosted websites on WordPress.org.

All themes are built on the Divi parent theme and will not work as a standalone theme. You can purchase Divi at Elegant Themes.

Do I need Divi to use these child themes ?

Yes, our child themes need Divi as a parent theme to work. Feel free to purchase Divi directly Elegant Themes website.

I need PSD files ?

Sorry, all child themes are created using the Divi Builder or available within’ the Divi Library, I do not create PSD files in Photoshop first, everything is designed directly in the browser. A logo psd might be included, but no page layouts. If you need a full width image to make some design changes you can install a browserplugin like FireShot for FireFox and take a full screen snapshot from the page you need to edit. You will have to redo those changes afterward in your child theme though.

Will my theme stop working after my membership expires ?

Assuming no massive changes in WordPress core or the Divi parent theme, your theme will continue to work just fine. You will not, however, have access to support and theme updates.

Those child themes look like the free layouts from Elegant Themes ?

Yes, absolutely correct. Every week free page layouts are added to the Divi Builder for you to use in your personal or commercial projects. We have turned some of those free page layouts into full blown child themes. Everything is styled for you, custom pages and extra features are added to give you a great start on your next website design.

Your child theme can't be installed. It says "the theme is missing the style.css stylesheet."

Ok, this must be the most asked question of all times, all you need to do is unzip the file you have downloaded. The child theme is inside the .zip along with a step by step installation guide.

Can I use these child themes on multiple sites ?

You’re free to use these child themes as many times as you like and on as many different domains as you need. There are no limits.

Will my membership auto renew ?

If you have signed up for the yearly All-Access membership then yes, after one year your PayPal account will be recharged for the same amount. This entitles you to an entire year support, downloads and updates. If you have a Lifetime membership your PayPal will never be charged again. If you have purchased a single child theme your PayPal will never be charged again.

Is it allowed to customize a theme ?

Yes ofcourse, I’m curious to see what you can create with these child themes. All themes are released under the GPL license. You’re free to use and customize all themes for personal and commercial projects.

What kind of support can I expect when I purchase a membership ?

If you run into problems, please send me a support ticket. Support tickets are answered within 24 business hours. My support includes help on installation and setup. It doesn’t include graphical changes, code changes, or website maintenance. Further customization to a theme is possible but it is not included in my support. I also offer direct email support.

What is your refund policy ?

After you’ve made a purchase, you have 48 hours to request a refund after placing an order if the product is faulty or not as described. Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds cannot be processed until it has been determined that the product is faulty or not as described.
